How «almost blue» was born

You are walking home from the shops, oblivious to what's going on around you. Then suddenly you notice that something must be wrong with gravity today: You lift off with every step you take. You are driven forward in giant leaps, normal walking has become impossible. People are scurrying by as if nothing had happened. But you can't stop smiling blissfully, never mind the silly expression. You are thinking of him. Or her. Has that ever happened to you? I hope so. If not, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I made my way home in giant leaps and in what felt like five minutes wrote the explanation on a piece of paper: "you do that to me" and jotted down what "that" all is. After six minutes it struck me that all good things will come to an end. And then it wasn't only the hair of the worshipped one that was so black it's almost blue.

Actually, quite a few things happened between minute five and six. The words sang their tune to me. Then the bold little piece suddenly wanted to be performed - performed? "Is there a record of this song?" I hear a voice asking while still struggling to control the shaking of my knees. I took a deep breath through most of one year, cried for help a lot, received even more help and, yes, here it is: almost blue - the CD.
